Ingredients
1.White Channa – 1 cup soaked overnight2.Potato – 2
3.Onion – 2 (Chopped)
To Grind:
1.Coconut – 1/2 cup
2. Onion – 1
3.Garlic – 4 tsp
4.Asafetida -1/2 tsp
5.Poppy Seeds – 2 tsp
6.Tomato – 2 or 3
7.Cinnamon – 2
8.Cloves – 2
9.Cardamom – 2
10.Salt & Sugar to Taste
Directions to cook :
1.Drain the soaked Channa and rinse it once or twice. Add enough water & salt and cover it.Pressure cook for 4-5 whistles or partially cover and cook in a pan until soft.
2.Boil Potatoes in a pressure cooker & smash it .
3.Heat a Pan add chopped Onion fry till transparent then add grinded masala saute well until the raw smell is gone.
4.Add Channa and Potato along with this masala atlast add salt and sugar as required.
5.Boil well until the gravy thickens & Garnish with Corriander Leaves and little bit of onion .
6.Serve hot with poori, naan or rotis.
